tREv New Road Tote Bag — Pre-Order

PRE-ORDER — Expected late October to early November 2026.

New Road — Carry the Story.

The New Road Tote Bag celebrates the legacy of North Preston — one of Canada’s oldest and largest Black communities.

Before it was formally named, the area was known as “New Road,” a name tied to fresh beginnings, resilience and the path generations built for themselves.

The design features “New Road,” “Nova Scotia” and 1783, marking the arrival of Black Loyalists who settled in Nova Scotia after the American Revolution.

At the centre sits the North Star — a symbol of guidance, freedom and direction.

Built for everyday use, the tote turns that history into something you can carry with you.

Heritage. Direction. Home.
