tREv New Road Hoodie

New Road — Heritage You Can Wear.

The New Road Hoodie honours the history, pride and resilience of North Preston — one of Canada’s oldest and largest Black communities.

Before it was formally named, the area was known as “New Road,” a name tied to fresh beginnings and the path generations carved for themselves.

The collegiate-style design features “New Road,” “Nova Scotia” and 1783, marking the arrival of Black Loyalists who settled in Nova Scotia after the American Revolution.

At the centre sits the North Star, a symbol of guidance, freedom and direction — a reminder to keep moving forward even when the road isn’t clear.

Heritage. Direction. Home.
